They work together to support and complement each other, while simultaneously aiming for both impact and profit.

What is it like to lead an organization that is focused on achieving impact? It takes impactful leadership.
I discovered 6 traits that were common to these successful CEOs in my work as an entrepreneur and organizational leader.
There are two components to self-awareness: impact and behaviour.
Impact We all have an effect, no matter how conscious or unconscious. Recognizing that we have an effect is the first step towards self-awareness. Then, we can start to think about what kind of impact are we having.
Behavior. Leaders who have an impact on people’s lives are mindful of how they influence others. They use this role to empower and inspire. For example, you can be curious about how each individual wants to impact your company. Then you can create the environment for those opportunities to occur.
Visionary leaders are the ones who have the ability to hold the vision for an organization. Vision answers the question, “What will it look like around here when it is achieved?” An impact-focused organisation goes beyond that. It also adds another dimension. These conversations are an important part of the development of strategy as well as implementation. An impactful leader is a point of reference for others who need clarity and resolve.
It takes a commitment to the vision of impact to have an impact. It’s difficult to infuse your organization with the impact that will make it profitable. This infusion cannot occur if the organization’s focus is not on impact throughout its planning process. It is easy to lose focus on impact when immediate problems or challenges overwhelm you and/or your employees. Instead of seeing impact as a singular, unchanging focus that is impossible to lose, it’s better to see it as an ongoing process of correction and improvement, just like one would navigate in an aircraft or ship.
This expression, which comes from Buddhist philosophy as well as Biblical roots, is an excellent way to capture the attitude and mindset of an influential leader. These leaders include love in their decision making. Steve Farber, a well-known expert in leadership, says that love is “just damn good business” and essential for leadership, teams and competitive advantages. Engaging people with the organization’s impact purpose is only possible if they are compassionate and treat them with kindness.
Love and kindness extends to you as a leader. You can make a difference by treating yourself with kindness, compassion and understanding on the inevitable occasions that you do not meet your own high standards. Even with lofty visions that are good for the planet and people, no one can be perfect. It’s as important to be kind and loving to yourself as it is for others.
Resilience and perseverance
In order to be an effective leader, you must not only show resilience but also perseverance in overcoming obstacles and challenges to reach financial goals. You must also be able and willing to accept failures and continue to improve your ability to generate revenue. The business world has moved into the impact economy. However, stakeholders can still push back if financial goals aren’t being met. They may press organizations to abandon longterm impact goals in favor of short-term profit.
Also, impact requires a multidimensional approach, which includes new stakeholders such as governments, community organizations and non-profits. This requires perseverance and resilience to create new connections and cooperate with others. Leaders who are successful demonstrate the importance of these attributes in setting goals and developing strategies.
Commitment towards growth
Leadership that is impactful and committed to growth is not only for their own personal growth but also the growth of their colleagues and coworkers. Achieving a greater and more impactful leadership role means letting go of the old you and moving towards expanded ways of being that are better for the organization.
Helping others grow includes opportunities for employees as well as joint venture partners and suppliers. The impact of all benefits is greater when everyone benefits.
